For motorists, the city will stop traffic within 50 yards of each designated blasting location, which will be limited to Sandy Springs Circle and the western portion of Johnson Ferry Road.

A blast cycle should last approximately 30-45 seconds before areas are inspected and deemed safe, at which time, the “all clear” will be given and traffic allowed to resume along that road.
