Income Taxes Prepared and Filed for Free at CAC!

Tax service is free to moderate-to-low income earners.

Get your income tax returns prepared and filed for free at the Community Assistance Center (CAC)! Meet with our team of trained and certified volunteer tax preparers available through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, an initiative of the IRS and the United Way to serve moderate-to-low income earners.

CAC's VITA volunteers ensure the use of all eligible tax credits for maximum refunds and proper filing with Uncle Sam! The service is available to any household in the Atlanta area earning up to $55,000 in 2018. Appointments are required. VITA at CAC is part of CAC’s mission to strengthen moderate-to-low income earning families and individuals in our community

Appointments are available through April 15, 2019
Mondays and Wednesday, 4 pm-8 pm
Saturdays, 10 am- 2pm

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) brings together the
Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities to provide compassionate
assistance to neighbors in need by providing financial support, helping
to meet basic needs and promoting self-reliance. CAC works to prevent
homelessness and hunger locally with the support of 28 congregations of
all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools,
businesses and individuals. Supporters provide financial resources,
in-kind donations and volunteer manpower.
