WHAT: The City of Sandy Springs will host a virtual public meeting regarding proposed roadway safety improvements at the Roswell Road and Abernathy Road intersection.

DATE: Monday, March 22, 2021

TIME: 6:30 p.m.

The City has identified the intersection of Roswell Road at Abernathy Road and the surrounding area as a high priority to address safety concerns due to the high number of historical crashes. The study area includes the intersections of Roswell Road at Abernathy Road, Roswell Road at Sunny Brook Lane, and Abernathy Road at Cherry Tree Lane. The segment of Roswell Road from the southern driveway of the Abernathy Square shopping center (south of Abernathy Road) at Publix to Marsh Creek is also included in the study.

The goal of this project is to enhance safety and operational efficiency at this intersection. Following the meeting, the proposed improvement plan will be posted online at www.sandyspringsga.gov for public comment until Monday March 29, 2021.
