Sandy Springs, GA -- The city of Sandy Springs is offering up City Hall as a place where presidential candidates can host town hall meetings.

One candidate has already accepted the offer from one of Georgia’s largest cities.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a contender for the Republican nomination for president, will hold a town hall meeting from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23 at City Hall.

The town hall meeting will be held exactly one week before Sandy Springs and Georgia residents head to the polls March 1 and vote in the Presidential Preference Primary.
“Selection of our next president is an important decision, and we are pleased to provide a venue giving our community the opportunity to interact with presidential candidates,” said Mayor Rusty Paul.
