Join the Volunteer Team at CAC!
Local assistance agency seeks volunteers for adult education, thrift shop and more.

Become a volunteer at the Community Assistance Center (CAC) and join the 1,000 volunteers who help their neighbors in need! Volunteers operate all areas of the Center. Current needs include merchandise pricers, front desk support, ESOL/English teachers and food pick-up drivers.
Merchandise pricers work at the CAC Boutique thrift shop at 8607 Roswell Rd. Days and hours are flexible between Monday - Friday, 9 am - 3 pm.
Front desk support is needed weekdays at CAC's 1130 Hightower Trail building.

Volunteers would ideally be able to work regular day time shifts of 4 hours such as once a week.
ESOL/English teachers are needed for the adult education program. Classes are offered mornings and evenings.

Volunteer groups are also welcome. Bring your church, school or other group for a service day project.

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) brings together the Sandy Springs and Dunwoody communities to provide compassionate assistance to neighbors in need by providing financial support, helping to meet basic needs and promoting self-reliance. CAC works to prevent homelessness and hunger locally with the support of 28 congregations of all faiths, public and private grants, civic organizations, schools, businesses and individuals.
