- 111 Glenridge Point Pkwy, 30328, 10/30: Two employees, male and female, were “playing” and calling each names. The male said he didn’t want to participate anymore but the female continued to call him names. He became angry but she continued, despite his objections so they ended up face to face, screaming at each other. That turned into a physical confrontation and he punched her, then picked up a knife but other employees restrained him from anything further. He was later arrested.
- A 36-year-old man said he and his child’s mother were discussing their relationship at his apartment on the 2nd of November. When mama found out he was seeing another woman, she kicked him, then acquired a kitchen butcher’s knife and chased him around the living room with the knife before he was able to exit through the front door. He said she took a “swipe” at him with the knife as he departed the room. Prior to the police arriving, he said he did a couple of shots of Captain Morgan rum, I guess, to take the edge off. The suspect left the location prior to the officer’s arrival.

Other Things
- Cops went to an apartment and met with two roommates who said the following: they went to a strip
club where one of the guys spent $200 -- designated for rent -- on booze and (stuff). They went home and to their separate bedrooms. Later, one of the roommates came into the other’s room, poking him with something demanding the $200 for rent. Fisticuffs ensued. Neither were charged and
they both went back to bed.
Arrests
- 5610 Roswell Road (Target), 30342, 10/29: A female suspected of shoplifting was detained. The video showed a car with two black males inside, dropping off the female in front of the store. Another officer stopped that car and spoke to the two men. Inside the car was a security camera and speaker, neither identified as stolen from Target. The female, however, said they were stolen but from a South Carolina location. Her admission prompted the charge of theft by receiving stolen property in another state. The items, valued at just under $500, were placed in evidence. She was arrested.

Security was called and he ended up fighting with the security officer until a second one assisted in securing the man. The security officer declined to prosecute so all the cops could do was give the man a criminal trespass warning not to return. Capt. Steve Rose says: Well, here’s the deal. If you have to go hands on with someone like this, they need to go on downtown to the lockup.
