*A food service inspector on Oct. 1 cited El Taco Veloz II in Sandy Springs for the following:

• Bulk container of beans in dry storage has broken lid, items inside not covered;
• Observed dried material/food bits on can opener blade;
• Observed slime/ mold inside ice machine on shield;
• Storage room out back needs to be sealed to preotet from elements and possible insect entry. Sunlight visible through gaps where ceiling meets walls;
• Wiping cloth solution measured 0ppm chlorine/bleach;
• Observed broken gasket to reach in cooler;
• Failure to provide test strips to check Quat Ammonia solution used to sanitize items in 3-compartment sink;
• Multiple HVAC vents throughout kitchen covered with dust; fan vent cover inside beverage cooler covered with dust, tubing in back showing signs of mold growth;
• Faucet at hand washing sink in kitchen loose, water leaking when turned on;
• Broken light shield hanging above grill in kitchen; light in dry storage has no shield/protective covering;
• Sceened door leading outside, adjacent to dry storage, has gaps along edges when closed; sunlight visible; must seal gaps to prevent entry of insects into establishment;
• Ladder door to attic ajar, must close tightly to prevent insects from falling inside kitchen; and
• Live flies and gnats seen flying around inside kitchen.
