Lane Closures Planned For GA-400, Northridge Road

Motorists who regularly use S.R. 400 and Northridge Road in Sandy Springs will want to find an alternate route early next week.

The Georgia Department of Transportation will implement overnight lane closures, which are needed due to the reconstruction of the S.R. 400 interchange at Northridge Road.

Weather permitting, two northbound lanes on S.R. 400 and one lane on Northridge Road will close simultaneously for the construction of a new bridge. The closures will take place:

• 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27;
• 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28;

Motorists are asked to slow down in the construction zone, as workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
