According to the CEOs for Cities' website, the new CEOs are those dubbed as "city change makers." These are the "leaders, planners, mayors, council members, college presidents, bloggers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, business executives, social advocates, coders, artists, and architects from cities around the country."

The organization touts itself as one that connects these "change makers" with one another so they can collaborate on ideas to bring economic growth and opportunity to their respective cities.

Fisher will discuss how some American cities are bolstering their impact through so-called cluster cities to share research, best practices and innovative ideas. Attendees will walk away with the tools needed to also encourage growth and opportunity while producing collaborative change and economic success.

Networking and heavy appetizers will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for LSS alumni donors and $30 for everyone else.
