Local attorney named to two bank boards

Joel S. Arogeti has been appointed to the Boards of National Commerce Corporation and National Bank of Commerce.

In conjunction with the closing of the recent merger of Private Bank of Buckhead and National Bank of Commerce, Sandy Springs resident Joel S. Arogeti has been appointed to the Boards of National Commerce Corporation and National Bank of Commerce.

Arogeti, who is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the law firm Kitchens Kelley Gaynes, PC, was a founding board member of Private Bancshares, Inc., the parent company of Private Bank of Buckhead. He chaired its Audit and Executive Committees and served on the bank’s Loan and ALCO Committees. Arogeti also is a recognized community leader; he currently serves as Chair of the Board of The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta and Board member of The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.

Private Bank of Buckhead – now in its 11th year – brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. The bank includes the Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage brands. PrivatePlus, which is represented in Buckhead and Decatur, does business nationally – 50 states and the District of Columbia.
