Man Shot In Back, Neck In Sandy Springs Parking Lot

BREAKING: the victim was shot a total of four times late Wednesday evening on Glenridge Drive.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- A 26-year-old man was shot four times late Wednesday evening in Sandy Springs.

ChattComm dispatchers received a call just before 11 p.m. Sept. 21 from a man who said he was shot in the parking lot at the Nevadan Apartments at 5501 Glenridge Drive.

The victim said he left his apartment to go to the mailboxes near the front of the complex when he "was shot by an unknwown person in a green van.

Witnesses described the vehicle as a gold/green minivan. Police say the victim is recovering from four gunshot wounds to his neck and back.
