Man Who Robbed, Attacked Woman Remains At Large
The victim said the male grabbed her by the hair, threw her to the ground and attacked her at an apartment complex in Sandy Springs.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Sandy Springs Police Department is asking the public to help them identify and track down the man accused of robbing and assaulting a woman late last month at an apartment complex.
According to an incident report released by the agency, the woman said she parked her vehicle near the mailboxes at the Park at Abernathy Square apartments at 6925 Roswell Road around 1:30 a.m. April 30 when she was approached by a male subject.
The man, who appeared to be in his mid to late 20's, asked if she wanted to buy an Atlanta Falcons T-shirt, despite not having any shirts with him.

According to the report, the woman said said she told the male she was "not interested." The male then grabbed the woman's arm and asked if she was single.
As she begin to walk away, the male allegedly told the woman "she needed to give him all of her money," the report states.

At that moment, the male subject grabbed the woman by the hair, shoved her to the ground and repeatedly kicked and stomped on her face and head, Sandy Springs police note.
The male then robbed the woman of the cash she was carrying, which totaled $82. The woman described her alleged attacker as a tall and skinny black male between 6 feet and 6'3'' tall, with brown eyes, bucked teeth and dread locks. She also said one of the dreads near the male subject's face was adorned with a bead and a sea shell.
A witness interrupted the attack, which caused the male to flee on foot.
