More Overnight Lane Closures This Week on Georgia 400
The Georgia Department of Transportation is reconstructing the S.R. 400 interchange at Northridge Road in Sandy Springs.

The Georgia Department of Transportation this week will continue to implement lane closures along Georgia 400 at Northridge Road in Sandy Springs.
The reconstruction of the interchange will require the overnight closures tomorrow through Friday, as well as throughout the weekend.

Weather permitting, two of four northbound and two of four southbound lanes will be closed simultaneously for construction of a new bridge.
The work will be confined to overnight hours Monday through Thursday. However, beginning Friday night, two lanes will be closed in each direction continuously until Monday morning.

The closure schedule is as follows:
- 10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 to 5 a.m.Tuesday, Oct. 28;
- 10 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29;
- 10 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 30;
- 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31; and
- 10 p.m., Friday, continuously to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov 3.
Motorists are advised to slow down and proceed with caution through this area, as workers and heavy equipment will be in close proximity to the roadway.
Residents are also encouraged to consider using an alternate route next weekend.
