-Friday, Sept. 5 - “Despicable Me 2”

-Friday, Sept. 26 - “How to Train Your Dragon 2”

The event is free for the family and public. Residents can expect to unwind after a long week and enjoy the outdoor movie on a huge inflatable screen with family and friends at this great community event.

While the movies won’t begin until dark, food will be available for purchase at on-site food trucks such as Yumbii and Chef Rob’s. Additionally, guests will be treated to entertainment and novelties from local schools. Leadership Sandy Springs also has kids in mind with the inclusion of inflatable amusements in the Kids Zone, as well as games and concessions.

Families are encouraged to come at 6 p.m. for the fun and to purchase dinners or bring their own picnic baskets, along with blankets and coolers. Representatives from the Atlanta Hawks, including mascot Harry the Hawk, will be interacting with guests just prior to the three movies.
