The Atlanta Section of the National Council of Jewish Women’s Fall Bargainata Sale starts with a Preview Night on Wednesday, October 22 from 7pm-10pm; continues on Thursday, October 23 from 11 am-7 pm and Sunday, October 26 from 11 am-7 pm. For over 45 years, Bargainata has been serving the community with new or gently worn men’s and women’s designer clothing, shoes, purses, accessories and housewares. Expect to see items discounted by as much as 90 percent. There is an admission fee for Preview Night only, $25 by October 21, $35 after and at the door. Proceeds benefit the AJCL literacy program in 8 Metro-Atlanta Title I schools and other community service projects. NCJW has been working since 1895 to improve the lives of Atlanta’s women, children and families. In addition to our Literacy program, we were founding members of the Genesis Shelter for Homeless Mothers and Newborns, started the first Assisted Living Facility in Atlanta, support Agape Community Center and has created a Mother’s Day Store at Lake Forest and Hightower Elementary Schools, providing Mother’s Day gifts for over 1800 of the mothers of children in those schools, and so much more in our 120 years in Atlanta!
