Next 10: Meetings Planned To Review Draft Land Use Plan
The city of Sandy Springs will host two town hall meetings on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The city’s process to plan for its next 10 years is nearing completion, and two town hall meetings have been scheduled to take in final thoughts from the public.
Sandy Springs will host the first of these two meetings on the Next Ten Comprehensive Land Use Plan from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Chastain Horse Park at 4371 Powers Ferry Road.
A second meeting will be held on the same day from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sherwood Event Facility at 8610 Roswell Road.

During both meetings, residents will have the chance to view the proposed plans, hear a short presentation from the Next Ten planning team related to draft updates and have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input.
“This has been a long and intensive process, beginning more than a year ago with visioning sessions," Mayor Rusty Paul said. "We’ve hosted a large number of meetings and workshops in order to involve the community, include their input and make sure we carry forward a vision that is comprised of collective community thought."
