North Springs Charter To Open Theatre Season With 'Eurydice'

The performances will be held Sept. 27-28 and Oct. 1-4 at the Sandy Springs school.

North Springs Charter High School’s acclaimed performing arts magnet will open its theater season with Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl, a re-imagining of the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its young heroine, Eurydice.

“This play with contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists and breathtaking visual effects offers a fresh look at a timeless love story,” the school said in its press release.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 1-4 at the school’s main stage theater.

Tickets can be purchased online and are $20 for VIP, $15 for regular admission, $10 for seniors age 60 and older and $5 for students.

North Springs Charter High School is home to the only dual arts and magnet program in Georgia and is located at 7447 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
