North Springs Dance Company Invites Audiences to Experience “CORE”
"CORE" invites audiences to explore the connection between dance and learning through an imaginative showcase of student choreography.
The North Springs High School Dance Company will close out the year with an inspiring performance that blends creativity, academics, and storytelling into one unforgettable production. Guided by Dance Magnet Director Monica Noble, “CORE” invites audiences to explore the connection between dance and learning through an imaginative showcase of student choreography.
More than a traditional dance performance, “CORE” highlights the power of arts integration and demonstrates how dance can bring academic subjects to life. The production also reflects North Springs' innovative spirit as it prepares to become the only STEAM-certified high school in Fulton County Schools, which reinforces the school’s commitment to connecting science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in meaningful ways. Through movement, music, and original storytelling, students examine themes inspired by math, science, social studies, and language arts. The result is a thought-provoking performance that celebrates both artistic expression and intellectual curiosity.
At the heart of the production is the exploration of left-brain and right-brain theories. Audiences will see how logic and creativity can work together to create something meaningful, emotional, and visually striking. From analytical concepts to imaginative storytelling, “CORE” reveals the beauty that emerges when students connect academics with the arts.
