North Springs High School Announces Top 10 Scholars for the Class of 2026

North Springs High School proudly recognizes the outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and service of its Top 10 Class of 2026 Scholars. Leading this exceptional group are Valedictorian Peyton Frank and Salutatorian Grace Lumpkins, whose accomplishments reflect the rigor and opportunity found across North Springs’ magnet programs.

Valedictorian Peyton Frank is son of Jana and Drew Frank of Sandy Springs. A Math and Science magnet student and AP Scholar with Distinction, Peyton distinguished himself through both academic excellence and leadership. He served as President of the National Spanish Honor Society and held officer roles in Best Buddies and the Jewish Culture Club. Peyton also participated in Youth Leadership Sandy Springs and Creating Connected Communities, deepening his commitment to civic engagement. Peyton will attend Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business this fall.

Grace Lumpkins, daughter of Nicole and Roablas Lumpkins of Sandy Springs, is the Class of 2026 Salutatorian. A dual magnet student and AP Scholar with Distinction, Grace is an accomplished leader and scholar with a passion for classical studies and music. She served as President of the Junior Classical League, earned recognition at the state level, and was selected for the Governor’s Honors Program in Latin. Grace also demonstrated a strong commitment to service through tutoring and mentoring younger students for Sandy Springs Education Force. She will attend Harvard College on a full scholarship, where she plans to study political science.

The remaining Top 10 Scholars, listed alphabetically, represent a diverse range of talents and achievements:

Felipe Camargo-Echeverria is a Math and Science magnet student, AP Scholar with Honor, and healthcare pathway completer who led the HOSA chapter and co-founded a service-based community outreach club. He will attend Mercer University as a Presidential Scholar studying public health.

Wilna Charlemagne, a dual magnet student in Visual and Performing Arts and Math and Science, excelled in music performance and leadership while balancing four years of employment. She will attend Georgia Tech to study public policy.

Jasmita Iragam is a Math and Science magnet student, STAR Student, and technology innovator who founded TechTalks Daily and developed cybersecurity tools. She plans to study computer science.

Katherine Lott is a dual magnet graduate and accomplished leader, musician, and athlete, serving as NHS president and earning national recognition through the Tri-M Music Honor SocietyShe will attend the University of Chicago as a recruited softball pitcher, majoring in psychology.

Jamie Masker demonstrated strong leadership as Student Body President and a dual-sport varsity captain. She will attend the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in business.

Sylvia Schuessler, an AP Scholar with Distinction and boasts a perfect score on the ACT. She is a dual enrollment math student at Georgia Tech and an accomplished musician and will attend Georgia Tech to study mechanical engineering.

Aurora Seesink, a Governor’s Honors Program finalist and FBLA leader, combined academic excellence with community service and athletics. She will attend the University of Georgia to study business.

Hannah Throne, a Visual and Performing Arts magnet student, excelled in graphic design and student leadership while gaining real-world experience through Work-Based Learning. She will attend Johnson & Wales University to study graphic design, marketing, and gender studies.

“North Springs’ Top 10 Scholars represent the very best of our school community,” said Principal Mr. Scott Hanson. “Their achievements reflect not only academic excellence, but also leadership, creativity, and a strong commitment to serving others. We are incredibly proud of each of them and excited to see the impact they will make in the future.”
