The exhibit features paintings and drawings around the theme of light and 3-dimensional hanging decorations designed in keeping with the store’s design tool kit.

This is the second exhibit by North Springs’ art students in as many months. In November, the store featured 23 students’ works in a Café Exhibition called “Growing a Business” where students worked with the local businesses Whole Foods promotes to create narrative pieces that presented each business’s unique story.

Lauren Dellaria, who teaches drawing and painting at North Springs, was enthusiastic when the idea was first proposed by the Sandy Springs Education Force.

SSEF wanted to provide students with real-world experiences, just as Dellaria and her peers try to do. Whole Foods was equally enthusiastic and shared their branding and design tool kit with North Springs’ students as the first creative step in launching the November exhibit and holiday-focused art for December.

“This has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to see their work showcased and to learn about creative career opportunities,” Dellaria said. “Whole Foods has been just great and is equally pleased. We look forward to collaborating on future projects with them.”
