The Bicycle Ride Across Georgia has a major new partner as it begins its 36th year: Northside Hospital Healthcare System has signed on as presenting sponsor of the four BRAG rides in 2015.
BRAG events include: the WinterRide, Feb. 17-22 in St. Marys; the Spring Tune-Up Ride, April 17-19 in Madison; BRAG, June 7-13 in the Newnan, Carrollton and LaGrange areas; and the Georgia BikeFest, Oct. 9-11 in Columbus.

“As much as any group in the country, BRAG has set the example of how to celebrate cycling and community,” Echols said. “Thousands of people have explored our state to see what we’re all about. Northside Hospital is privileged to be a part of this celebration.”
BRAG’s Ride Director Vicki Thompson said she’s thrilled to be a partner with Northside to help attract more riders statewide and promote safety and health.
“This marks the 36th year we’ve held this wonderful family-oriented event,” Thompson said. “You can’t ‘BRAG’ if you don’t ride.”
BRAG is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable, family-friendly bicycle tours in and across Georgia with an emphasis on safety, education and fun.
