Open House Planned For Roswell Road, Grogans Ferry Intersection

Plans call for installing a traffic signal at the intersection, which has been the site of more than 2 dozen accidents from 2014 to 2016.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The city of Sandy Springs will hold an open house to lay out plans to improve safety and traffic flow at Roswell Road's intersection with Grogans Ferry Road.

The public information open house will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 at City Hall.

The current intersection, which is located near QuikTrip just north of Sandy Springs City Hall, is served by stop sign control on side street approaches, with travel speeds on Roswell Road "too high for existing conditions," the city said.
