Open House Planned For Spalding-Pitts Intersection Improvements

The open house will review concepts to improve traffic flow at the intersection. The project will be funded with TSPLOST dollars.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA — The city of Sandy Springs has scheduled a public information open house to present options to improve safety and traffic movements at the Spalding Drive-Pitts Road intersection. The open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 at Sandy Springs City Hall.

No formal presentation will be made, but city representatives will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions from residents and stakeholders.

The intersection was identified by the city as a location that would "realize a gain in mobility and an improvement in safety through the proposed project," which will upgrade the traffic signal system and add two left turn lanes.
