Open House For Sandy Springs Intersection Improvements on Tuesday
The meeting for improvements needed due to the relocation of Heards Ferry Elementary will start at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at Temple Sinai.
The city of Sandy Springs on Tuesday will host an open house to discuss improvements it plans to make due to the relocation of Heards Ferry Elementary School.
The open house, scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 30 will be held at Temple Sinai, located at 5645 Dupree Drive NW.
City staff will display preferred designs and answer questions related to improvements planned for the intersections of Heards Ferry Road and Raider Drive, Powers Ferry Road and Heards Drive, Powers Ferry Road at Dupree and Interstate North Parkway and RiverEdge Parkway.

The projects are intended to address a change in traffic patterns related to the relocation of Heards Ferry Elementary School and to enhance traffic flow in that corridor. Construction is set to begin in 2015.
