During the meeting, the Next Ten planning team will present the Big Ideas generated from the input on The Next Ten website, stakeholder interviews, and other community feedback, and will review analyses covering economic development, transportation and green infrastructure.

The presentation segment will end with an overview of goals and concepts for the Roswell Road and PCID (Perimeter Center Improvement District) areas. Following the presentation, community members will participate in a workshop with the planning team to further discuss and refine the ideas shown.

“As we reach important markers in the process, we want to validate our findings and concepts with the community in order to ensure that everyone continues to have the opportunity to be informed and aligned with the process,” said Sandy Springs Assistant City Manager Jim Tolbert.

Along with the community meeting, the team will continue its outreach to stakeholder groups, including environmental advocates, developers and representatives from the city of Dunwoody.

Reports and studies related to the Next Ten efforts can be found on the project’s website, which also includes notices of upcoming meetings and poll questions, which are used to gain insight throughout the planning process.
