Police Arrest 6 in Sandy Springs Entering Auto Case

The suspects allegedly broke into vehicles inside a parking deck at Indigo House Apartments.

Six people have been arrested and charged in connection to an entering auto incident overnight Saturday at a Sandy Springs apartment complex.

Officers were dispatched to a larceny in progress call around 2:49 a.m. Oct. 10 at Indigo House Apartments, which are located at 111 Glenridge Point Parkway.

Sandy Springs police spokesperson Sgt. Ron Momon said the suspects, who were occupying a white Mercedes Benz SUV reported stolen out of Atlanta, drove into a secured parking deck and broke into several vehicles.

Momon said the suspects were confronted by officers in the parking deck, but they exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

One suspect injured his leg and head after he leaped from the second level of the parking deck. However, all six suspects were captured after a short foot pursuit.

Atlanta residents Anthony O’Neal, 20, Kelvin Stone, 19, and Marcus Palmer, Jamarcus Purnell, Jawaski Caston and Antwon Palmer, all 17, each were charged with 14 counts of entering auto.

Stone is also charged with aggravated assault. All six suspects were transported to the Fulton County Jail.
