UPDATE: Police Look For Man Accused of Kidnapping Wife, Children
A woman and her two children were allegedly taken Saturday from their Sandy Springs apartment by their "estranged" husband and father.
UPDATE at 1:10 p.m.:
Sandy Springs police Captain Steve Rose said Victoria Flores-Medina, and her two daughters, Areli, 5 and Nazli, 2, have been located unharmed and are now in protective custody.
Capt. Rose added the suspect and estranged husband Audel Cabrera-Penaloza is “believed to have fled the area of Bay Circle in Norcross, where the victims were found at a hotel.”

The 2007 green Toyota Tundra, driven by Cabrera-Penaloza, has also been recovered by police, he stated.

The Sandy Springs Police Department is asking its citizens help find a mother and two children they believe are in danger.
The agency said on its Facebook page that Audel Cabrera-Penaloza “forcibly took his estranged” wife, Victoria Flores-Medina, and their two daughters, Areli, 5 and Nazli, 2 from Flores-Medina’s apartment at 66 Northwood Drive around 6:30 a.m. Saturday, April 4.
“Both the mother and children are believed to be in extreme danger and Audel Cabrera-Penaloza is believed to be dangerous,” the agency wrote.
Police said the family is traveling in a 2007 green Toyota Tundra with Georgia tag PXY-2613.
Anyone with information on the family’s whereabouts is asked to call Sandy Springs police at 770-551-6900 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
