Police Investigate Attack On Pizza Delivery Driver
The two suspects are accused of shooting at and throwing a brick into the driver's car at a Sandy Springs apartment complex.

Detectives with the Sandy Springs Police Department are on the hunt for two suspects who allegedly shot at and threw a brick into the car of a pizza delivery driver.

Officers responded around 2:22 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9 to Park 225 Apartments at 4735 Roswell Road and met with the driver, who recounted the incident to authorities.
According to an incident report provided by the agency, the driver fulfilling a delivery order to an apartment unit. The driver made the delivery and as he was returning to his car, he walked by two men sitting on the stairs near the apartment unit.

As he walked to his vehicle following the delivery, one of the men told him to “watch where you’re going; don’t brush me with your pants.”
The delivery driver told the two men, “If you don’t want to be brushed, (the) stairs are not the place to sit.”
According to the report, the two suspects became upset and when the delivery man proceeded to drive away, he heard what sounded like a firecracker and a noise near his passenger-side floorboard.
The driver said he circled the parking spaces and returned to the area where the men were originally sitting.
The suspects were no longer in the area, but were seen running by the mailbox area and up another set of stairs. The driver got out of the car, and was confronted by one of the suspects.
That suspect allegedly had a brick in his hand, and had his hand raised as if he was positioning to throw the object at the driver, the report states.
The driver got back into his car, which is when one of the suspects allegedly lodged the brick at the delivery vehicle’s windshield. The alleged victim once again exited his vehicle to call 911, which is when he noticed a bullet hole in the roof of his vehicle, the report reads.
The windshield of the vehicle was shattered, but still intact.
The suspects are described as black men between the age of 17 and 18. One suspect was about 5’10’’, had short dreadlocks, thin build, thin mustache and was holding a white Samsung Galaxy cell phone at the time of the incident. He was wearing brown pants and a yellow T-shirt when the alleged attack happened.
The second suspect also had short dreadlocks, thin build, thin mustache and goatee and was wearing a necklace possibly made of wood, dark blue tank-top shirt and an unknown type of pants. He reportedly is about 5’8’’.
