Police: Sandy Springs Apartments Burglarized After Fire
Valuables were taken from residents displaced by the fire at the Pointe at Canyon Ridge apartments on Roswell Road.

Detectives with the Sandy Springs Police Department are investigating several burglaries that occurred at an apartment complex following a fire late last year.
According to the agency’s Facebook page, the burglaries occurred following a fire in November at the Pointe at Canyon Ridge apartments at 8404 Roswell Road.
“Several units were destroyed, causing several families to be displaced,” the agency said. “During that time, every apartment was accessed and valuables were taken from several families.”

Anyone with information on the incidents and identities of those responsible for the burglaries is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477). You may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000, Sandy Springs police said.
