Portion of Brandon Mill Road To Close For Pipeline Work

The road will close July 11-16 so Colonial Pipeline can perform maintenance.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- A segment of Brandon Mill Road in Sandy Springs will close to trough traffic next month for pipeline work.

Beginning Monday, July 11, the road between West Spalding Drive and Dunhill Court will close to allow Colonial Pipeline to perform maintenance on a pipeline under Brandon Mill road.

The closure is expected to remain in place through Saturday, July 16, the city of Sandy Springs said.

Motorists traveling south on Brandon Mill are asked to detour down Dunhill Court to West Spalding Drive to connect back to Brandon Mill. Those traveling north are asked to travel West Spalding Drive to Dunhill Court.

On-site construction personnel will assist residents who live within the closure area to access their driveways, the city added.

Motorists are asked to plan ahead, using alternative routes if possible, and to follow detour signage and use added caution if traveling in the Brandon Mill area is needed.
