The proposal calls for adding two southbound left-turn lanes on the Roswell Road approach and two eastbound receiving lanes on eastbound Glenridge Drive. The existing northbound right-turn lane on Roswell Road north of the existing intersection will be eliminated to make room for the dual southbound lefts turning onto Glenridge Drive.

It’s also slated to improve the Glenridge Drive alignment as it approaches Roswell Road by improving the existing radius along the existing approach curve and the intersection angle will be improved to 80 degrees on the Glenridge Drive approach.

An additional eastbound lane on Glenridge Drive will be constructed east of the intersection. Sidewalks will also be added to both sides of the roadway.

Hammond Park is located at 705 Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs.
