Public Input Meeting Set For Sandy Springs Library Renovations
The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will hold meetings throughout June to gather feedback on renovation projects.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System will hold public meetings this month to gather community input on plans to renovate several of its libraries.
Meetings scheduled this week will allow residents and stakeholders to provide feedback on renovations for the Southwest, Roswell and Sandy Springs libraries.
Meetings, all of which will begin at 6 p.m. and run until 7:30 p.m., are scheduled for:

- Monday, June 12: Southwest Atlanta Library, 3665 Cascade Road SW, Atlanta 30331
- Tuesday, June 13: Roswell Library, 115 Norcross St, Roswell, GA 30075-3811
- Wednesday, June 14: Sandy Springs Library, 395 Mount Vernon Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30328-4119
- Monday, June 19: West End Library, 525 Peeples St SW, Atlanta, GA 30310
- Tuesday, June 20 – Washington Park Library, 1116 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30314
The meetings will include presentations by Fulton County’s building team, Design Builder, Hogan Construction, Architects McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, Chasm Architecture and Library staff.
The renovations are part of Phase II of the library system's Capital Improvement Plan. Each meeting will include a presentation of the scope of the renovation project, information on the process each library will follow, as well as, a time for public comment and community input. The design builder will be available to answer questions throughout each session.
