From 9 a.m to 4 p.m., residents can drop off their trees at two locations:
- The Home Depot at 6400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road; and
- The Sandy Springs Recycling Center at 470 Morgan Falls Road.
Bring One For The Chipper involves hundreds of communities and thousands of volunteers across Georgia. Since its launch, the program has recycled about six million Christmas trees. The mulch from trees has been used for playgrounds, local government beautification projects and individual yards.
A note to residents: please make sure your tree does not contain any ornaments, tinsel, lights and make sure they are not flocked (sprayed with fake snow).
