Resident: "Now is the Time" To Speak Out About Abernathy Greenway Park

Resident Susan Joseph is encouraging residents to attend Wednesday's public information meeting at Sandy Springs City Hall.

In case you missed the announcement, there will be a public information meeting to discuss future plans for the south side of Abernathy Greenway on Wednesday, Nov. 19 (at) 6 p.m. at City Hall.

Staff will present and there will be a chance for public comment.

Given all the discussion about whether the north side was over built or not, and whether money was spent effectively or not (ex. being the poorly thought out walk ways), now is the time to speak up about what you want done on the south side.

Many have expressed skepticism that the city actually pays attention to citizen input that doesn’t support the (City) Council’s own vision, but don’t give up!
