Rhythm and Brews Concert Brings Country, Folk-Rock To Sandy Springs

The second installment of Heritage Sandy Springs’ 2015 Rhythm & Brews concert series will be held on Thursday, and will feature a metro Atlanta-based music act.

Gareth Asher and the Earthlings will perform June 25 at the The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $5 for ages 21 and up, $2 for ages 13-20, free for ages 12 and under.

Gareth Asher and the Earthlings are an Atlanta-based country and folk-rock band formed by Georgia-born singer-songwriter and guitarist Gareth Asher in 2011.

As a touring artist, Gareth is known for his soulful voice, and has shared the stage with Shawn Mullins, Glen Phillips, Emerson Hart, Angie Aparo, Corey Smith, Sister Hazel, Collective Soul and others. Asher was named Musician of the Year at the Atlanta Chozen Awards in 2010.

The 2015 Rhythm & Brews concert series are held once a month from May through August at the Entertainment Lawn, which is at 6110 Bluestone Road.
