Riverwood Announces National Merit Semifinalists
The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition that recognizes high achieving high school seniors.
From Riverwood International Charter School: Riverwood International Charter School is proud to announce its Class of 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists, seniors Saya Abney, daughter of Aileen Nakamura and Russ Abney; and Lily Schneider, daughter of Jennifer Tourial and Ryan Schneider, both of Sandy Springs. The National Merit ® Scholarship Program is an academic competition that recognizes high achieving high school seniors. Students enter the National Merit Program by taking the PSAT, and then go through an application process. Nationwide, approximately 16,000 students are recognized as Semifinalists and almost 95% will go on to be Finalists, making them eligible for over $40 million in college scholarships.
