Riverwood International Charter School's cheerleading squads participated in the National Cheerleaders Association 2014 camp in July.

The Riverwood International Charter School’s cheerleading squads last month participated in the National Cheerleaders Association’s 2014 camp.
Hosted by the University of Georgia, the four-day, overnight camp included classes, workshops and competitions. The cheerleading squads also brought up several awards from the camp.

2. Herkie Award (Team Unity award)
3. Four All-Americans: Nadia Romero, Parker Courson, Morgan Ward & Alena Moore
4. Top All-American (Best cheerleader at camp): Morgan Ward
5. America Needs Cheerleaders Award: Merrill Garrison
6. Stunting Excellence Award
7. Four consecutive spirit sticks
Varsity Basketball Cheerleaders::
1. Excellence in Motions
2. Four Day Spirit Stick Winner
3. Leadership Award: Ashanti Muhammad
4. All-American: Gabby Sutton
5. America Needs Cheerleaders Award: Gabby Sutton
