Riverwood Charter School Students Attend Volleyball Camp

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders who attended the summer 2014 Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Volleyball Camp.

The Red Team, led by Coach Heather Stafford, won First Place in the Silver division. The Blue Team, led by Coach Leigh Hudson, won Second Place in the Bronze division.

Coach Stafford, a Riverwood alum (Class of 2007) played volleyball at Piedmont College and she joins the Raider coaching staff as Head of the Volleyball program for the 2014—2015 school year. Last year she was the Head coach at North Springs High School, the Spartans finished the 2013-14 year with an overall record of 28-15 and 8-2 in the region.

They ended their season with a second round loss in the state tournament.
