Riverwood Christmas Tree Sale Goes Online
For those who prefer in-person purchases, the baseball team's Christmas tree lot will open Nov. 24 and run through Nov. 29 in Sandy Springs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- For the first time in its more than 20 year history, the Riverwood Raider Baseball Christmas Tree Sale is now available to access from the comfort of your home (or office). In addition to traditional in-person and day-of sales, the team encourages community members to go online to pre-order their fresh cut Frasier Fir Christmas trees.
Riverwood welcomes a new baseball coach this year and he brings with him years of experience with
Christmas tree fundraisers.
"Selling the finest quality North Carolina-grown trees is our goal and giving people the opportunity to reserve and pay for their tree online just enhances the buying experience," said Coach Trey Henson.

Riverwood baseball players and parents will continue to volunteer at the tree lot, helping customers select the trees that they ordered, fresh-cutting the trunks, and loading them onto cars and trucks. They will also deliver trees for a small fee. Riverwood anticipates moving to an exclusively pre-order business model in future years.
For this year, a limited number of trees will be available for walk-up sales at the lot at Riverwood International Charter School, which is at 5900 Raider Drive in Sandy Springs.
