Riverwood Foundation To Host Annual Student Career Fair

More than 60 Sandy Springs and Atlanta-based organizations are set to offer internships, summer jobs and work study programs.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The Riverwood Foundation will host its annual Career Fair on Friday, March 4 at the high school in Sandy Springs.

The fair, which will be held from 8 a.m. to noon in the school’s gym, will feature more than 60 Sandy Springs and Atlanta based organizations offering internships, summer job opportunities and work study programs for Riverwood students.

The Riverwood Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support long-term, academically-focused strategic initiatives that positively impact every student at Riverwood International Charter School.

The Foundation Board of Trustees, comprised of parents and community leaders, works closely with the school’s administrative team to determine the areas of greatest need, raises funds and secure resources to support those efforts.

Thanks to a dedicated group of individuals and organizations who have an interest in ensuring a quality education for all students, the Foundation has raised over $800,000 in funds since its creation in 2005.
