Riverwood Graduate To Play Volleyball At Coppin State
Brianna Lang, signed a letter of commitment to play volleyball at Coppin State University in Baltimore.

From Riverwood International School: Riverwood International Charter School recent graduate, Brianna Lang, signed a letter of commitment to play volleyball at Coppin State University in Baltimore. She will receive a full athletic scholarship to serve as a setter for the Eagles, an NCAA Division I team that competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. Riverwood head volleyball coach, Nikia Bynum-Isler, remarks, “Brianna is a very agile setter with great volleyball IQ. I have watched her progress in her setting skills for the last two years and she will do well on the collegiate level. I wish her the best of luck at Coppin and I will be following her career closely as she makes her mark in the MEAC Conference."
Lang played Raider volleyball for four years, two on the JV team and two on Varsity, where she served as a Varsity Team Captain both years. As a senior, she was named First Team All-Area, Female Student Athlete of the Month, and received an award for Most Assists. As a junior, she was named Second Team All-Area. Lang is involved with Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and chorus at Riverwood. Outside of school, Lang played AAU volleyball for four years and served as a team captain. Coppin State University is a historically black college that is part of the University System of Maryland.
