Riverwood Hoops Teams Face Cedar Grove in First Round of Region 5-AAA Tournament

This week, the temperature on the basketball court will be elevated to sweltering conditions as high school teams take the floor for the onset of their region tournaments.

Riverwood International Charter High School finds itself in the mix of this hoops heat wave as both the girls and boys begin their march toward a potential berth in the state playoffs.

The girls play Cedar Grove today at 4:30 p.m at Arabia Mountain High School. Riverwood’s boys will also face Cedar Grove in the first round. However, their game is scheduled for Tuesday at Riverwood.

Throughout the week, Riverwood will serve as a host site for specified games of the sub-divided Region 5-AAA Tournament. The times and teams competing in these match-ups will be posted as they become available.
