Riverwood Seniors Named Wendy’s High School Heisman Winners
The program recognizes seniors who are proven leaders and role models within their school and community.

From Riverwood International: Riverwood International Charter School seniors, Jordan Balkcom and Syd Pargman, were recently named Riverwood’s 2018 Wendy’s High School Heisman Winners for their roles as outstanding student athletes.
Balkcom is a three-year member of the Varsity Girls Volleyball team, where she holds the position of middle hitter. She is also involved with the Riverwood Beta Club, National Honor Society, and the Raider Writing Center. Pargman is a member of the Varsity Baseball Team, where he is an outfielder. He is active in Beta Club, the Raider Writing Center, and the Spanish Club. He is also a recipient of the Princeton Prize in Race Relations. The Wendy’s High School Heisman Candidate program recognizes seniors who are proven leaders and role models within their school and community.
