Zamora’s first place finish and Wright’s second place win at the state competition in the spring earned their presence at the national competition.
Oliver, who leads the FCCLA Club at Riverwood, said she is proud of her student’s accomplishments and teaches much more than just cooking in her classes.
The funds required to attend and participate at the state and national competitions were sourced entirely through fundraising efforts.
