Riverwood Student Selected To Attend Youth Leadership Seminar

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Riverwood International Charter School rising junior Jada Sweeting (Class of 2021) was chosen to represent the Raiders at this summer's Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Seminar. She will join over 200 other HOBY Ambassadors from Northwest Georgia at Oglethorpe University May 3 through June 2.

The ambassadors already demonstrate leadership in their schools and communities, and the HOBY seminar provides a unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experience. Founded in 1958, HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop a global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. HOBY ambassadors develop a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others.
