Riverwood Students Named National Merit Finalists
Saya Abney and Lily Schneider were named as National Merit Finalists at Riverwood International Charter School.
SANDY SPRINGS, GA - From Riverwood International Charter School: Riverwood International Charter School is proud to announce that its Class of 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists have qualified as National Merit Finalists. Seniors Saya Abney and Lily Schneider, both of Sandy Springs, are now in the running to compete for one of 2,500 National Merit $2,500 Scholarships, plus over 1,200 corporate scholarships and approximately 4,000 college-sponsored Merit Scholarships.
Abney, Riverwood’s 2018 Valedictorian, is yet undecided about where she will continue her education, but aspires to attend law school after college. Schneider will attend the Georgia Institute of Technology where she plans to study chemistry and engineering.
