Georgia Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program.

The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators and leaders.
Those attending GHP are nominated by teachers, and then must pass two rigorous interviews and/or auditions. Less than 1 percent of Georgia’s high school students qualify for this honor.
GHP semi-finalists will be interviewed for an opportunity to become a finalist, and possibly be selected as a 2016 GHP summer scholar.
