Riverwood Students Take Home Medals at Swimming Championship

The students participated in the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association (GRPA) Class A State Swimming Championships last month.

Several students on the Riverwood International Charter School swim team competed in the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association (GRPA) Class A State Swimming Championships.

The 2014 state meet drew more than 1,000 swimmers in age groups 7U-18U to the Cumming Aquatic Center July 26-27.

Senior Larsen Hodge, junior Tim Stewart, senior Drew Caruthers and junior Paris Phillips all had multiple personal bests and all made it the finals and received medals.
