Roswell Road Sidewalk Input Meeting Scheduled For March 1
The public information open house will be held at the Hammond Park gym.

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- The city of Sandy Springs will host an open house next week on plans to improve safety along a segment of a major corridor.
The public information open house on sidewalk improvements on Roswell Road between Northwood Drive and Long Island Drive will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1 at the Hammond Park gym.
There will not be a formal presentation, but city staff will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.

The project serves to improve pedestrian safety and mobility along the western side of Roswell Road between Northwood and Long Island drives. Improvements will include additional sidewalks, streetscape, trees and pedestrian lighting.
It will be funded by the Community Development Block Grant funds, which are made available to the city through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
