Rotary Club To Honor Sandy Springs Teachers Of The Year

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs on Monday will recognize the 2014-2015 Sandy Springs Teachers of the Year.

The educators will be recognized May 18 during the club’s luncheon program at the Hilton Perimeter Suites. This annual event will get underway at 12:15 p.m.

Teachers of the year winners are chosen by their respective schools. This year’s winners include:

• Dunwoody Springs Elementary School: Kim Wood
• Heards Ferry Elementary School: Lane Snead
• High Point Elementary School: Tashika Truesdale
• Ison Springs Elementary School: Nick Thompson
• Lake Forrest Elementary School: Jennifer Rivers
• Spalding Drive Charter Elementary School: Tiffany Waller
• Woodland Elementary School: Jessica Foltz
• Ridgeview Charter Middle School: C. Brian Davis
• Sandy Springs Charter Middle School: Latrease Turlington
• North Springs Charter High School: Eric Smith
• Riverwood International Charter High School: Brittany Wood

The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs has a 44-year history of service both internationally and locally to the Sandy Springs community.

Luncheon meetings are held most Mondays at 12:15 p.m. at the Hilton Perimeter Suites at 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road in Sandy Springs.

The club welcomes interested business leaders, professionals and community leaders to visit for lunch. Reservations aren’t required but may be made in advance at www.sandyspringsrotary.org.
